As Dean of Black's University™, I am proud to bring the same passion and bold vision to learning that we have inherited from Black’s original founder, Eddie Black. That same love of learning continues to guide Black's even today.

Our intention is to build Black’s University™ as North America’s premier learning institution and community for digital imaging, photography, and digital equipment. Our commitment to learning through a blended methodology of on-line, in-class and collaborative course delivery allows us to facilitate innovative connections between our customers, our Associates and our trusted Vendor partners. We believe that sharing new ideas between these vital stakeholder groups creates tremendous value and unleashes talent. At Black’s University, we strive to provide that stimulating, engaging and high quality learning experience that enriches all our members.

I have been in the photographic industry for over 12 years, both professionally and as a consumer. In my Training and Development role at Black’s I have the honor of leading all learning for Black’s associates, as well as learning for our customers and vendor partners. I truly understand our customers’ passion and commitment to photography and their quest to become knowledgeable in this ever changing industry.

Now as Dean of the University, I invite you to join me in this educational initiative. I sincerely hope that you will enjoy becoming part of our community.
